Since 1951, White Mountain Riding Club has been a place where horse people come together, and that only happens because volunteers step forward. From setting up the arena to greeting riders, every role helps create a welcoming and well-run event. If you would like to be part of that tradition, we encourage you to sign up.
We match tasks to your comfort level. We welcome you even if you have never helped at a horse event before. We welcome you even if you’re participating in a clinic or show, there are still many flexible volunteer opportunities available before, after, or between your rides so you can be part of making the event a success.
At horse shows
- Gate keeper
- Ring crew (setting and tear down of poles, cones, or trail elements)
- Check-In Table/Show Office
- Score keeper
- Ribbon & Award Setup and Distribution
- Announcer helper / ring steward assistant
- Setup and teardown

At clinics and trail rides
