With Sarah Trudell of Soul and Saddle
August 1, 2026
Sarah Trudel is deeply passionate about fostering authentic, trust-based relationships between horses and their humans. A lifelong learner, she continues to expand her foundation horsemanship knowledge each year, having participated in more than 25 multi-day clinics with respected horsemen including Bryan Neubert, Tom Curtin, Trina Curtin, and Martin Black.
After decades of learning, Sarah spent years thoughtfully reflecting on and integrating these teachings before stepping into the role of sharing them with others. In 2023, she began offering group sessions, grounded in a clear and confident message centered on the horse.
Her approach blends gentleness with a strong commitment to safety, encouraging riders to adopt a solution-oriented mindset rooted in curiosity, awareness, and clarity rather than judgment. Sarah challenges riders to slow down, tune into their own energy, and recognize the subtle ways horses communicate. Through this process, participants begin to understand the horse as a mirror—reflecting their inner state—and shift toward a more respectful and effective question:
“What can I do better to help my horse understand what I’m asking?”
Sarah is the founder of Soul & Saddle LLC, a wellness-based practice devoted to supporting both horses and the humans who care for them. Her work is deeply integrative, combining horsemanship with holistic modalities. She is a Certified PEMF Practitioner, Reiki Master, Breathwork Coach, and Yoga Teacher.
Her equine sessions incorporate MagnaWave PEMF, massage techniques, fascial work, and horse-centered energy practices to create individualized bodywork experiences. Central to her philosophy is the belief that each horse should be an active participant in their own healing process.
In addition, Sarah is a licensed riding instructor in the state of Massachusetts and brings over 30 years of experience owning, training, and managing horses.
