The White Mountain Riding Club has been bringing horse people together since 1951. Founded by local horse enthusiasts and proudly operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, WMRC carries forward a rich tradition rooted in community, horsemanship, and a shared respect for the horse. For generations, the club has served as a gathering place for riders, families, and supporters who value connection, learning, and time well spent around horses.
Each year, WMRC offers a carefully curated calendar of activities that includes summer horse shows, trail rides, and horsemanship clinic. These events are intentionally designed to be welcoming and approachable, whether you are stepping into the show ring for the first time or bringing years of experience with you. Our focus is on creating positive, supportive environments where riders can learn, grow, and enjoy their horses, all while upholding a strong commitment to humane, ethical, and responsible horsemanship.
At its heart, WMRC is a volunteer-driven organization powered by the dedication and enthusiasm of its hard working members. Fresh ideas are strongly encouraged, helping hands are always appreciated, and the sense of camaraderie that comes from working together is what keeps the club thriving. From planning events to maintaining traditions, volunteers play an essential role in shaping the club’s present and future.
Membership is open to all ages, and you don’t need to own a horse to be part of WMRC. Whether you ride, drive, volunteer, or simply enjoy being around horses and horse people, there is a place for you here. If you value community, learning, and shared experiences centered on a love of horses, we invite you to join us and become part of a tradition that has endured for more than seven decades.
